About us

Fortuna is one of the first sports bookmakers in the area of the middle and east Europe. It was founded in the 1990 when 4 contractors with Michal Horáček on the head established joint stock company whose main activity was sports betting. First betting shop was opened in the Czech Republic O1/05/1990 and by the end of the year business was rapidly expanded.

Having in mind the vision of middle european countries joining the EU, Fortuna starts with opening betting shops in Slovakia and after in Poland. In 2008 Fortuna sportska kladionica d.o.o. comes to Croatia. After the acquisition of the firm „Favorit“and demanding process of rebranding, today Fortuna has a very successful business in Croatia where it has an important role on the market of sports betting.
